WHITINSVILLE – The operators of a Whitinsville long-term care facility are reportedly facing the revocation of their nursing home licenses.

The Franklin Observer reports the Massachusetts Department of Public Health issued a notice of intent to revoke all nursing home licenses held by RegalCare CEO Eli Mirlis. The action follows reporting by the Boston Globe about nursing homes operated by Mirlis. The Globe reported allegations that funding was cut at the facilities to support other types of businesses. Mirlis has reportedly already lost nursing home licenses in New Jersey, Connecticut and New York.
