HOPEDALE – A lawn mower fire caused minor damage to a home on Richard Road Saturday evening.
Hopedale Police and Fire responded to the scene, with police arriving first and attempting to put out the fire using extinguishers from their cruisers. Those efforts were unsuccessful, but firefighters arrived shortly afterward and quickly knocked down the flames.
Officials say the home sustained minor damage and no one was injured. The cause of the mower fire has not yet been determined.
