MEDWAY – A brief police response at Burke-Memorial School Wednesday evening ended safely after a nine-year-old child was reported missing following sports practice.
Medway Police say the child’s parents were attending Curriculum Night when they learned their child had not been picked up. The child apparently became confused about the pickup arrangements and ran home instead of waiting for a sibling.
Police were called to the school, but the child was found a short time later safe and unharmed at home.
