BELLINGHAM – A man wanted in connection with a home break-in in Bellingham last month has been identified and arrested following a multi-agency investigation.
Bellingham Police say information provided by members of the public helped investigators identify a 22-year-old Rhode Island man as a suspect in the case.
Using those tips, Bellingham Police worked with the FBI, Norfolk County Anti-Crime Task Force and Woonsocket Police to identify and locate the suspect. He was arrested over the weekend in Rhode Island.
Police say the man will first face charges in Woonsocket before being extradited to Massachusetts, where he is expected to face multiple felony charges related to the Bellingham incident.
The Bellingham Police Department thanked the many people who came forward with information that assisted investigators.
