By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Westborough’s Kopin Corp has gotten another large order from the defense industry. The Worcester Business Journal reports the maker of optical and electronic display equipment has announced more than $4.4 million worth of new contracts and reorders for various companies for simulated thermal sights for armored vehicle training systems and for long-range optical weapon sights. This is on top of a $6 million follow-on order from the U.S. Department of Defense in December.
