HOPEDALE – Global shipping and logistics company A.P. Moller – Maersk is expanding into Hopedale with a new $100 million fulfillment center that is expected to bring approximately 1,000 jobs to the region.
The new 617,000-square-foot facility will support several of the company’s major e-commerce customers and will be capable of processing up to 330,000 units per day during peak demand.
Maersk says operations are expected to begin in late August, and hiring has already started for a variety of positions at the new facility.
