FRANKLIN – A Franklin company that manufactures safety equipment for workers operating at significant heights is reportedly preparing to close its local facility.
Pure Safety Group Inc., known locally as Guardian Fall, has notified the Massachusetts Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development that it plans to close its Beaver Street location, according to the Boston Business Journal.
The closure is expected to take place in October and will eliminate the positions of all five employees currently working at the Franklin facility. No reason for the decision to close the location has been announced.
