Hopkinton Biotech Company Expands with $60 Million Acquisition

HOPKINTON – A Hopkinton-based biotechnology company is expanding its portfolio with a major acquisition.

Isto Biologics has purchased NovaBone Products of Florida in a deal valued at approximately $60 million, according to the Worcester Business Journal.

Isto manufactures biologic therapies and synthetic bone graft products that are used in more than 15,000 surgical procedures each month across the United States. Company officials say the acquisition will expand the range of products available to surgeons specializing in bone repair and healing.
