By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – It’s not just West Nile Virus that has health officials worried in this excessively high mosquito year. State officials have confirmed this season’s first human case of Eastern equine encephalitis in the state and it’s a man in his 80’s in Worcester County. They have raised the risk level in Northbridge, and Uxbridge to “High Risk” and in Grafton, Mendon, and Upton to “Moderate Risk.” They say the peak mosquito hours are dusk and dawn and you should consider rescheduling any outdoor activities during those times.
