The cost of a new single-family home continues to rise in the region. According to real estate research firm The Warren Group, the median sales price in January for Worcester County went up 3.5% from January 2024 to $439,900. In Middlesex County it jumped 16.2% year over year to $813,500. Nevertheless, sales are increasing, up 7.3% in Worcester County and 2.9% in Middlesex County. The Worcester Business Journal reports condominium sales and their prices are also up from this time last year.
