MENDON — Students in the Mendon-Upton Regional School District recently had the chance to interact with advanced robotics technology.
Engineers from Boston Dynamics visited Miscoe Hill Middle School last week and demonstrated the company’s robotic “Spot” dogs while discussing careers in robotics and engineering.
Students from Nipmuc Regional High School’s Information Technology Innovation Career Pathways program also worked directly with the engineers, operating the robots during several demonstrations that highlighted their potential uses in public safety and industrial settings.
