NORTON — Some of the best golfers in the world will return to Massachusetts later this month as the LPGA’s FM Championship comes back to TPC Boston in Norton from Aug. 27-30.

The 2026 tournament marks the third edition of the FM Championship, which debuted at TPC Boston in 2024 and has quickly become one of the premier stops on the LPGA Tour calendar. This year’s championship features a $4.4 million purse and awards 500 points toward the Race to the CME Globe.

The early entry list features many of the biggest names in women’s golf, including Jeeno Thitikul, Miyu Yamashita, Minjee Lee, Rio Takeda, Nelly Korda, Sei Young Kim, Hyo Joo Kim, Hye-Jin Choi and Nasa Hataoka. Major champions Yuka Saso, Amy Yang and Anna Nordqvist are also among those entered.

Defending champion Miranda Wang will have the opportunity to return to the site of her breakthrough victory. Wang captured her first LPGA Tour title at TPC Boston in 2025, finishing at 20-under par and holding off Jeeno Thitikul by one stroke.

The championship has continued to grow since its inaugural tournament. The 2024 event featured 144 players competing for a $3.8 million purse, while the 2025 purse increased to $4.1 million. FM’s five-year partnership with the LPGA calls for the tournament purse to continue increasing until it reaches $5 million in 2028. The 2025 FM Championship was also voted Tournament of the Year by LPGA players.

TPC Boston will once again provide the backdrop for four days of championship golf. The course will play as a par 72 at approximately 6,533 yards for this year’s event.

The tournament also represents another major professional sporting event for the region, giving golf fans throughout Massachusetts and New England an opportunity to see many of the LPGA Tour’s top players compete close to home.

Tournament week begins ahead of the opening round on Thursday, Aug. 27, before the field competes through the weekend with the championship decided on Sunday, Aug. 30.

The 2026 FM Championship runs Aug. 27-30 at TPC Boston in Norton. Tickets and additional tournament information are available through the official FM Championship website.
