MILFORD – A judge has ruled that Andre Oliveira Gomes of Whitinsville — the man seen in viral video allegedly attacking another man with a baseball bat at the Main Street Market — is a danger to the public and will remain behind bars for at least 120 days.

Gomes is charged with Assault with Intent to Murder and Attempted Armed Robbery. Investigators believe the confrontation stemmed from a dispute over money.

He is scheduled to return to court in late January.
