MILFORD – New rules are now in place governing how students and staff at Milford Public Schools can raise money for teams, clubs and other school programs.
Under the updated policy, students can no longer be required to participate in fundraising activities and will not be permitted to solicit donations door-to-door. Student fundraising competitions will also no longer be allowed.
The rules also place new restrictions on staff fundraising. Teachers and other employees cannot directly solicit donations from people with whom they have a professional relationship.
