MassDOT Warns of Smishing Scams Targeting EZDriveMA Customers: What You Need to Know

Due to an increase in scams MassDOT is reminding customers to be mindful of text message-based scams, also known as smishing. EZ Drive MA is the latest transit agency from across the country to have criminals try to exploit you by sending fake text messages demanding payment for unpaid tolls. They remind you that all real messages associated with EZDriveMA will include the website www.EZDriveMA.com. You can see an image of the fake message on the Medway Police Department Facebook Page.
