WESTBOROUGH – Westborough officials are warning residents about ongoing issues involving unleashed dogs and pet waste near the Sandra Pond Reservoir, a key part of the town’s drinking water system. The Board of Health says dogs have been roaming freely without supervision, leading to waste contaminating the area.
Officials are reminding dog owners that pets must remain on a leash at all times near Sandra Pond, and owners are required to clean up after their animals to help protect public health and water quality.
