Westborough School Committee Appoints Allison Borchers as New Superintendent

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Westborough School Committee has chosen Westwood assistant superintendent Allison Borchers to be the next Westborough Schools superintendent. Monday night the committee voted unanimously for Borchers over Westborough High School Principal Brian Callaghan and Groton-Dunstable assistant superintendent Kristen DeFrancisco. The Community Advocate reports the School Committee said any of the three would have done a good job, but they leaned toward Borchers due to her district-level experience.
