WESTBOROUGH – We’re learning more about why Police Chief Todd Minardi was placed on administrative leave. Documents from Shrewsbury Police reportedly show Minardi was found asleep in an unmarked police cruiser outside a liquor store.
According to the report, Minardi had been in the vehicle for more than a day and there were open containers of alcohol inside. He was cited for the open containers but was not charged with OUI because the keys were not in the ignition. His wife reportedly told police he had been gone for two days.
