UPTON – Students from Nipmuc Regional High School have earned a $5,000 award to support science and technology programs at the school. The students participated in the National Defense Industrial Association’s New England Cyber Event, which connects students with leaders in government, education, and the defense industry.
The funding will support Nipmuc’s NASA-supported program and Drone Club, including projects tied to real-world work connected to the International Space Station.
