Medway Students Honored for Award-Winning Engineering Projects

MEDWAY – The Medway Select Board recently recognized five Medway High School students for engineering projects that earned statewide honors through the Project Lead the Way program.

Bridget Tonelli, Macy Healy, and Isabella Webb received the Project Lead the Way Capstone Program Award for creating an app designed to help individuals with speech impairments communicate more effectively. Meanwhile, Jaswanth Bandaru and Tanish Asu earned a Project of Distinction Award for developing a new type of controller for the high school’s robotics laboratory. Town officials praised the students for their innovation and technical achievement.
