Local Companies Secure Grants for Workforce Training and Growth

Several local companies have gotten a piece of a round of $19 million in training grants from the Commonwealth’s Workforce Training Fund Program which is aimed at growing the workforce and helping businesses to retain their workers by giving them more opportunities. Franklin’s Tegra Medical was awarded $82,000 to train 110 workers with 30 additional jobs expected by 2025. Hopedale’s Marguerite Concrete Contractors was awarded nearly $59,000 to train 49 workers with 25 additional jobs expected by 2025.
