HOPEDALE – Residents should expect to see a significant police and emergency response presence at Hopedale Memorial Elementary School Friday afternoon, but officials say there is no emergency.
Local public safety agencies will participate in a joint training exercise at the school from 2 PM to 6 PM.
Numerous emergency vehicles and public safety personnel are expected to be on the property throughout the afternoon as agencies conduct the planned exercise.
Officials are giving residents advance notice to avoid unnecessary concern and emphasize that the activity is part of a training drill and does not involve an actual emergency.
