Unofficial results from the Hopedale Town Clerk from yesterday’s Special Town Election indicate voters have said yes to a debt exclusion to put a new roof on the Junior/Senior High School. The Town Clerk says there were 234 Yes votes and 133 No votes for the 20-year term-limited debt exclusion for $4.1 million. The Town Administrator said earlier this week it would cost the average property owner about $108 a year. The total costs of the new roof is $5.9 million but the other $1.8 million was already previously allocated.
