By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The playground at Franklin’s Fletcher Field is getting a makeover. The Franklin Recreation Department and Department of Public Works are renovating the playground this spring with a new baseball-themed play structure with accessible surfacing and a newly relocated swing set. Concrete walkways will also be installed. It’s being paid for by a state grant and the Community Preservation Act. They ask that you use the other playgrounds at DelCarte, Dacey, Nason Street, and King Street while they work.
