Congressman Jake Auchincloss has been appointed to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce. One of the oldest standing committees in the history of the US House, it covers a wide range of policies over health care, technology, and energy. Auchincloss says specifically he will serve on the Health, Energy, and Environment subcommittees and so will work on telecommunications, consumer protection, food and drug safety, public health and research, environmental quality, energy policy, and commerce.
