BELLINGHAM – The Bellingham Police Department once again has a certified K-9 team on patrol.
Officer Steve Hole and K-9 Louie recently graduated from the Boston Police K-9 Academy and earned certification in Patrol Operations, Tracking, and Object Recovery. Department officials say the addition of the team strengthens public safety capabilities and marks the return of a valuable law enforcement resource to the community.
Police say the program was funded through a grant and does not add any cost to Bellingham taxpayers.
