BELLINGHAM – Bellingham Police are asking residents to check their home security cameras as they investigate a break-in and assault reported over the weekend.
Police say the incident happened around 12:30 AM on Saturday in the area of South Main Street and Mann Street, where a man is suspected of entering a home through a window and assaulting someone inside.
Investigators are looking for home surveillance footage from the area taken late Friday night into early Saturday morning that could help identify the suspect or provide additional information about his movements.
Police say they have increased patrols throughout the area during both daytime and overnight hours. They are also reminding residents to make sure doors and windows are secured.
