HUDSON — The holiday season may still be a few months away, but preparations are already underway for a new production of a holiday classic. The Haven Hudson has announced auditions for its first-ever indoor production of “A Christmas Carol,” in partnership with the First United Methodist Church in Hudson.
The family production is looking for performers of all ages and experience levels to help bring the beloved Charles Dickens story to life. While the production will feature a primarily adult cast, youth performers are also encouraged to audition and be part of the show.
Auditions will take place on Monday, September 28th and Tuesday, September 29th. Children in kindergarten through seventh grade will audition from 5-6 p.m., while youth performers in eighth grade and older, along with adults, will audition from 6-8:30 p.m.
All performers must sign up for an audition slot ahead of time. The Haven Hudson is encouraging anyone interested in joining the production to participate.
The production will include tech week from December 12th and December 14th-17th, with performances scheduled for December 17th-19th at the First United Methodist Church in Hudson.
