MENDON – The Mendon Office of Emergency Management has activated a cooling center at the Mendon Senior Center as dangerous heat continues across the region.
The cooling center will be open today from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM and Friday from 9 AM to 1 PM.
Mendon Police are also urging residents to keep extra drinking water available in case of power outages, remain hydrated, and check on elderly relatives, neighbors, and others who may be vulnerable to the extreme temperatures.
