MENDON – Mendon’s Special Town Meeting is tonight at 7 PM at Miscoe Hill Middle School. The 21-article warrant includes a proposed bylaw establishing limits on excessive noise, covering not only parties and events but also contractors and other outside work. The proposal would set limits on how loud certain activities can be and the hours when excessive noise would be prohibited.
Other articles include establishing a disability commission, funding upgrades to the Senior Center and taking steps to have the Ammidon Tavern designated on the National Register of Historic Places.
