HOPKINTON – High school students from Hopkinton, Bellingham, and surrounding towns spent their spring break gaining real-world experience through the “Tools of the Trade” workforce program. The weeklong initiative, organized by the Metro South/West Workforce Board, gave 20 students paid, hands-on training in skilled trades.

Participants learned and practiced carpentry, plumbing, and construction techniques, including time spent at the New England Laborers Training Center in Hopkinton, helping prepare them for future careers in the trades.
