NORTHBRIDGE – Northbridge voters will soon consider a $3.3 million tax override aimed at supporting the local school district. The Board of Selectmen has approved placing the measure on the warrant for the upcoming May 5 Annual Town Meeting.
Officials say the town is currently not meeting state-required net school spending levels, which could lead to staff and service cuts if not addressed. Residents can learn more at a Q&A session tonight at 5:30 PM at the Northbridge High School, featuring the town manager and superintendent.
