MILFORD – Milford Public Schools is receiving a $25,000 donation to support special education from a Milford High School graduate.
Rebecca Rhodes, a member of the Class of 2006, presented the donation to the School Committee last week in honor of her mother, who was left paralyzed following a car crash while Rhodes was a student.
Rhodes says the gift is a way to thank the Milford teachers who supported her and her family during that difficult time. The money will go toward the Special Education Department and Shining Star Early Childhood Center.
