WESTBOROUGH – Some demolition work on the I-495/I-90 Interchange Improvement Project will affect Westborough drivers for a few nights later this week starting tomorrow night.
MassDOT will temporarily close Flanders Road between Washington Street and Connector Road while crews demolish a section of the I-495 bridge over Flanders.
The closure and detours will be in place the nights of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following morning.
The official detour will route drivers along Route 9 between Coslin Drive and Connector Road.
Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and follow posted detour signage during the overnight work.
