HOPKINTON – Another phase of overnight closures begins Monday night as construction continues on the massive I-90/I-495 interchange reconstruction project.
From Monday through Thursday nights, MassDOT plans to close the I-90 eastbound ramp to I-495 northbound from 11 PM until 5 AM each night.
The I-495 northbound ramp to I-90 eastbound and westbound will also be closed during the overnight work periods. Drivers should follow posted detours and allow additional travel time.
The closures are preparing the interchange for another significant traffic change. Beginning Friday, I-90 eastbound traffic is scheduled to shift onto a new temporary alignment as reconstruction of the interchange continues.
