MILLIS – A Millis police officer has been suspended by the state’s police standards commission following his arrest in connection with a domestic dispute.
Officials say Craig Thompson, a 10-year veteran of the department, is charged with strangulation and domestic assault after an incident in Medway. He has pleaded not guilty and was released without bail.
Thompson had already been placed on unpaid leave by the Millis Police Department. His attorney says the case should be dismissed and that he expects Thompson will be cleared.
