Increased Police Presence at Trottier Middle School Following Student Threat Investigation

There is an increased police presence around Trottier Middle School in Southborough today following a report of a threat. Police Chief Ryan Newell says they are investigating a threatening statement made by a student against the school on Tuesday. He says while investigators have determined that there is no credible threat and no immediate safety risk, they have more officers there today out of an abundance of caution. He says it is still an open investigation, and charges could be filed against the student.
