Freshman standout Nathan Bills is making waves this summer after a solid debut at Medfield High School. Recently named a 2026 varsity captain, Bills has demonstrated leadership beyond his years, earning a coveted spot in the MBCA Freshman Select State All‑Star Game thanks to his poise at the plate and in the field.
Last spring, Bills helped the Warriors earn a berth in the D3 state tournament’s Round of 32, where they fell to eventual champion North Reading. This offseason, he continued to refine his all-around game in summer play. His first-career home run, a well‑struck shot to the gap, underscored his power potential and hinted at a burgeoning two‑strike approach. Opponents now view him as a threat in any count.
As he returns to Medfield for his sophomore campaign, Bills will bring confidence from his summer success. The Warriors, stung by an unlucky postseason draw this spring, hope his emergence spurs a deeper playoff run. With Bills leading the way, Medfield’s next season carries high expectations.
