By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Boston Scientific has bought yet another medical technology company. The company announced this week it has purchased the Cortex company from California which makes diagnostic tools used in the treatment of atrial fibrillation. The company has not said how much the deal cost. The Worcester Business Journal reports Boston Scientific only just recently closed on its $1.18-billion acquisition of another California biotech called Silk Road Medical which also makes cardiovascular treatment tools.
