HOPKINTON – The 130th running of the Boston Marathon takes place this Monday on Patriots Day, and officials are encouraging spectators to plan ahead. Hopkinton Police, working with the Boston Athletic Association, have released a Spectator Guide with viewing tips, start times, transportation info, and safety guidance.
