By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – A drunk driver has been arrested after Bellingham police officers smashed his window and pulled him out from behind the wheel. It happened Friday afternoon along Main and Mechanic Streets where the driver was spotted weaving and hitting another car. Officers stopped the driver but say he refused to roll down his window and when they recognized he was under the influence and trying to drive off, they broke the window, pulled him out, got him medical treatment, and then arrested him on a long list of charges.
