HOPKINTON – A Hopkinton man has been charged with attempted murder months after he allegedly tried to drown another man during a confrontation at Lake Maspenock.
Seventy-year-old Steven Dana is also charged with strangulation and assault and battery on a disabled person. Police say the incident involving 21-year-old Matthew Duffy happened in June and was captured on camera. Duffy was on crutches at the time following a motorcycle accident. Dana could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted. No arraignment date has been set.
