By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Milford’s Post 9/11 Committee has put together a proposition for a new memorial to go in Draper Memorial Park that they plan to bring to October Town Meeting. Patch reports the Committee is calling it the Global War on Terror Memorial and they say it will include all who have served in that fight based on some criteria they have put together over the last few months. That includes being a Milford resident at the time of induction into the service, having an honorable discharge, and having served from 9/11/2001 to 9/11/2021.
