By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Hopkinton reportedly had a good 2023 financially. At this week’s Select Board meeting, a town accountant reported that an audit report shows a “very healthy year” with the Hopkinton Independent reporting the 60-page reports showed revenue exceeded the town budget by $5.6 million and expenses came in under budget. The accountant also said the town has $5.4 million in federal American Rescue Plan Act funds that need to be allocated toward something by the end of this year and spent by the end of 2026.
