By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – A new roof for Westborough’s Hastings Elementary School is reportedly going to cost around $4 million. The Community Advocate reports at last week’s School Committee meeting Superintendent Amber Bock said the bid for the project came in at $3.75 million but when you add in some contingency costs you get closer to $4.1 million. An ask for the money will come up at Spring Town Meeting. The Hastings roof is more than 27 years old and several areas of it leaked in the January rain storms.
