By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Designers of Hopkinton’s new Elmwood School say they are looking to incorporate the town’s natural resources into the school’s look. At the latest Elementary School Building Committee meeting the architect said different rooms might echo meadows, forests and marshes. The Hopkinton Independent reports the architect calls it important to “maintain a timeless and flexible aesthetic” specific to Hopkinton. There is a “concept collaboration” group of administrators, grade teachers and arts teachers that will meet to work on it.
