Westborough is accepting comments on an amended Aggregation Plan for Westborough Power Choice which is the Town’s group electricity buying program. Aggregation, which is now being formulated in many towns, allows residents and businesses to buy power in bulk and as a group with the goal of saving money. Westborough says in amending the Plan, the Town is adding the option to include a small fee in the program prices, which the Town would then be required to use for the benefit of Program participants. The Town says the typical size of the fee would be around 70 cents a month.
