Westborough Library Committee Seeks $1.6M for Upgrades at Town Meeting

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Westborough Library Building Committee is reportedly going to ask Town Meeting for $1.6 million dollars toward some upgrades to the Public Library. The Community Advocate reports this money is for design development and construction documents with a bigger ask for the actual work coming in 2025. After Town Meeting rejected a major library renovation in 2022, this version will reportedly focus on just a few big items, like the roof, windows and more restrooms. Westborough Annual Town Meeting is March 23.
