Westborough Awards March Employee Excellence to Librarian Caitlin Staples

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Town of Westborough’s Employee Excellence Award Committee has named Public Library Technical Services and Technology Librarian Caitlin Staples as the March recipient. Caitlin manages all of the technology in the library and serves in a leadership role with the clerical union and was on the negotiating team for their most recent contract. Earlier this year, she led a re-cataloging of 10,000 nonfiction books from the Dewey Decimal System to a more user-friendly model and trained the staff to enact it.
