By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Milford’s Waters Corp says sales were down for the second quarter of 2024. In a statement last week, the company said globally they made $709 million which is down 4% from the same time last year. The Worcester Business Journal reports there was a big loss of demand in China and Japan, and many of the layoffs they did as part of a 2% reduction in March were reportedly in the Chinese workforce. But officials say they are gaining some momentum and think the second half of the year will pick back up.
